    Welcome to the Bradenton Public Market, a place where the community meets each week to enjoy fresh produce, local art, music, and free family activities on Old Main Street.Since 1979, the Bradenton Public Market has been a cherished weekly tradition, transforming Old Main Street into a vibrant, open-air marketplace. Each Saturday from October through May, locals and visitors alike gather to explore over 80 vendors offering fresh produce, artisanal goods, local art, and delicious prepared foods. The market also features live music, chef demonstrations, and family-friendly activities, making it a delightful outing for all ages.

    BAM!Fest transforms the Bradenton Riverwalk into a dynamic celebration of art, music, and interactive experiences from bridge to bridge. Guests can enjoy live performances on multiple stages, artist demonstrations, large-scale visual art, community mural projects, student showcases, food vendors, beverages, and family-friendly activities throughout the waterfront. It is one of the area's most vibrant spring arts events, and admission is free.

  • De Soto Heritage Festival Grand Parade

    Old Main Street (Downtown Bradenton) Old Main Street, Bradenton, FL

    The De Soto Heritage Festival Grand Parade returns with more than 150 parade entries, decorated floats, krewes, and a large crowd expected along Manatee Avenue. The parade is one of the region’s biggest annual traditions, with floats, beads, coins, and other fun items handed to spectators throughout the evening. The updated route stages on Manatee Avenue between 1st Street and 9th Street West. That section of Manatee Avenue closes at 12:00 PM on parade day, with westbound traffic rerouted via 9th Avenue W. The remainder of Manatee Avenue from 9th Street W to 43rd Street W closes at 5:00 PM for crowd-protection barricades. Northbound lanes of the Green Bridge to Palmetto remain open during the parade; southbound lanes close at 7:00 PM. Third Avenue West and Ninth Avenue West remain open throughout the parade.
